when all hope is diminished
when everything you stand for falls
when you feel that there is nothing worth living for
when you are low hope for god
when the sun doesn’t feel warm enough
when the rain feels colder than usual
when the light stand out of your way
when you feel the ground has given away
when you feel your heart has broken like a shard of glass
when you feel like you’ve lost everything you ever had
your house, your gold, your money
remember that you still have your knowledge
the brightness inside you
the sun inside you
the world inside you
and when you feel everything is lost
remember everything you’ve gained is because of your knowledge
